Using TSConvert


The following information is ONLY for people upgrading from TuneTracker 1. If you have TuneTracker 2, TuneTracker 2 Pro, TuneTracker Basic®, or TuneTracker Command Center™, no conversions are necessary and you can skip this section.

TSconvert is a quick-and-easy utility you can use to convert format clocks and master logs created for the original TuneStacker™ to our new, improved TuneStacker™ format. Files can be converted singly, or many at once.

1.   Load the files into TSConvert
   You can do so by browsing to the locate the files, dragging the files onto the TSConvert interface, or selecting them in a BeOS directory window, right clicking on them, choosing "Open With" and choosing TSConvert.
   
2.   Specify whether you want TSConvert to overwrite the existing files or to save the files with the file extension, ".ts2." We strongly recommend the latter, so you can revert back if you need to.
   
3.   Choose whether you want the various randomizations in your existing master logs and format clocks, such as RandPlay, RandTempo, and RandGenre, proximity-protected by TuneStacker™ 2.
   
4.   Click to generate the converted files.
